Solar monitoring companies rely on ground truth systems, old databases, or satellite data and are highly inaccurate because they fail to understand the complexity of measuring solar energy, failures of the ground base systems to be cleaned and maintained properly, and a lack of intelligent use of satellite technology in calculating solar flux. Most customers who have solar monitoring systems may have received an unexpected power bill or a smaller than expected check for energy production because of these errors. Our solar siting and resource manager can determine, with high degree to accuracy, your particular solar resources in location in North America. The resolution of our accuracy is down to 100 meters making us the only company that can delivery your solar siting and resources at the high level of accuracy that is needed for your business. With our system you can define any large array by building a large number of virtual pyranometers using our capabilties.

SkyTrue Cloud Drifting Analysis

Our Cloud Drifting reports allow you to build certain types of geometrical solar configurations using any solar technology, whether it is PV, CPV or CSP, and run yearly cloud drifting movements over the solar arrays to determine the best configurations and design for your solar farm and production.

SkyTrue Solar Monitoring

Our Solar Monitoring over comes limitations of ground truth systems that compare your production.   The solar experts recognized that ground truth systems will always be prone to failures due to soiled or dirty optics; whereas satellite technology avoids this issue. The trick is to have the Global Horizontal Radiation, the Direct Normal Isolation, and Diffuse Calculations using the satellite data with the radiative transfer model to be highly accurate.   SkyTrue Solar Monitoring system will have the highest capabilities of accuracy and prediction, giving you the user, the highest confidence of accruacy reflection of your production compared to your atmosphere transparencies.

Our solar simulation and comparison capabilities allow you use your solar resources and solar configurations to run an accurate solar pre-production against various solar technologies, products and different configuration based upon the cloud drifting analysis and our Evaluation and Production Center actual solar production data of difference solar equipment that is installed at our Guyman facilities.
